Syger Hasenberg

Syger T. Hasenberg Poppi Syger Hasenberg, 83, passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah August 24, 2007 due to complications of Alzheimers and old age. He was surrounded by people that loved him. He was born April 28, 1924 in Den Hague, Holland to Ada Moltzer and Gustaaf Hasenberg. He later immigrated to Canada after WWII where he met and married Berna cook April 1960; later divorced. He is survived by his four children: Carolynn (Ron) Schmidtke, Nancy (Phil) Meidell, Shawn (JR) Schouten, Marc (Angela) Hasenberg; sister, Toty Herklots, Holland; and many grandchildren and friends. Thank you, Canyon Rim Care Center, for your loving care. At his request Syger was cremated. The family will be having a memorial celebration of his life on Saturday, 4:00 p.m. at the Crystal Heights Ward, 1978 East Strattford Avenue (2545 S.).
