Tamara Tammy Barney Fowler, 53, of Clifton, Arizona passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 in a car accident along with her daughter, Katy Fowler. Tamara was born November 24, 1959 in Murray, Utah to Elvin and Betty Barney. She lived in Riverton, Utah until 1981 when she moved to Safford with her family. She began working as a cosmetologist and worked for several years here in the Gila Valley. She was very talented and had acquired many beloved clients. Her passion in her field inspired others to follow in her footsteps. Tamara married her husband, Harold Damian Fowler on November 5, 1989 and had two beautiful daughters, Lita and Katy Fowler. She was a very loving mother and wife, and was always thoughtful and kind to those around her. She had a beautiful smile and was quick to share it with others. Tamara is survived by her husband, Harold Fowler; daughter, Lita Fowler; mother, Betty Barney; sisters, Karla (Buster) Smith, Connie (Sherm) Lloyd; brothers, Brent (Carole) Barney, Boyd (Crystal) Barney, Lee (Kristi) Barney, Kyle (Patty) Barney, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Elvin Barney. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the Mt. Graham LDS Chapel in Safford.
