Emery "Ted" Bush, 90, of Thatcher passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center in Safford. He was born on January 20, 1922 in Bellefontaine, OH, to Rice Bush and Bessie Cox Bush. He married Isabelle Stout on June 23, 1942 in Bellefontaine, OH. Ted served 25 years in the U.S. Air Force and was a Master Sgt. He worked for Heflin-Herrington Steel and Plastics Company as a supervisor. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and watching football, basketball, and baseball games. He is survived by his wife Isabelle of nearly 70 years, of Thatcher; one son, Ted (Cathy) Bush, of Gilbert, AZ; one daughter, Katie Snodderley, of Thatcher; one sister, Mary Bush of Ohio; 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Larry and Terry; and brothers, Perry and William. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Safford. Viewing will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Thatcher Cemetery, with military honors by Gila Valley Honor Guard.
