Tennyson Victor passed on to his Heavenly home October 31, 2018 around 2pm, he was 81 years young. Tennyson was a kind, loving, compassionate, generous, humorous, happy, positive, intelligent and friendly family man. He was always helping others whenever he was able to and encouraged his children and grandchildren to do the same. He was employed by the United States Postal Service as Postmaster for Bylas for 36 years. He also was the manager of Bylas Trading Enterprise for more than 25 years.
He was always very active in the community along with his late wife, Dolly Victor. They both planned many events for the Bylas community including the Annual July 4th celebration, Halloween Carnival, sports tournaments and Christmas program to name a few. He was the first native American elected to Ft. Thomas School Board. He served as president of the Bylas Community committee, and he helped organize the Bylas Rifle Club.
He leaves behind his family and many many friends both young and old. We will forever miss him, but we rejoice knowing he is in our Savior's loving presence along with his wife and son, Luther "Crunch" Victor. God bless everyone for your kindness and friendship toward Tennyson. His last wishes were to: BE KIND, TO EACH OTHER, AND LEARN TO FORGIVE AND FORGET. Let us all take these words to heart and learn from him.
The Wake will be held November 8, starting at 4pm at the Victor residence in Bylas. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9, at 10 am at Ernest Stanley Memorial Hall in Bylas. Interment in the Middle Mesa Cemetery will follow the Funeral Service.
