Terry Baber

Terry L. Solomon Baber of Safford passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 59. She was born on November 11, 1961, in Jacksonville, Illinois to parents Vernon Lee Solomon & Carol Jean Loveless Solomon and her brother Gary Andrew Solomon. Terry graduated from North Western High School in 1979, and in May of that same year, she joined the U.S. Navy in San Diego, California earning the rank of DC1, or 1st Class. On August 31, 1996, Terry married Vestal Ray Baber and the couple was blessed with two sons, Andrew & William Baber. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, and was a member of the American Legion Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary serving as the Post Commander and Quartermaster. Terry was proud of the fact that she was born on Veteran's Day, joined the Navy, and served in the Gulf War. Terry is survived by her husband Ray Baber, her son William Baber, and her brother Gary Andrew Solomon. She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon & Jean Solomon, and her son Andrew Morgan Baber. No services are planned at this time.
