Thella Taylor

Thella Mae Taylor, 90 of Safford passed away in Mesa on March 7, 2011. She was born October 10, 1920 in Safford, Arizona to David & Abigail Stewart. She married Ernest Taylor and they were blessed with 7 children. Thella was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint in the Safford 4th Ward. She also was active in the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and the Safford Women's Club. She is survived by her children Davene (Monte) Montierth, John (Jo) Taylor, Gary (Sharon) Taylor, Vangie (Jim) Norton, Don (Wendi) Taylor, Paul (Marsha) Taylor and Abby Taylor, 29 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. The family is appreciative of the condolences offered in the passing of their mother and wishes to thank all who showed kindness or rendered service to Thella and the family during her illness. Funeral Services will be conducted by Bishop David Player on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Safford LDS Stake Center. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to services at the Church. Interment will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
