Thelma Rejetta Doshier, affectionately known as "Reggie," passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025, in Safford, Arizona, leaving behind a loving family and a legacy that will be cherished for generations to come. Born on March 4, 1937, in Seymour, Missouri, Reggie lived a full and vibrant life characterized by her deep love for nature, adventure, and family.
Reggie graduated high school in Springfield, Missouri, in 1955, marking the beginning of her journey as a devoted homemaker. On September 4, 1955, she married Dale Doshier, and together they built a family filled with love and laughter. Their life together was filled with cherished moments until his passing in 2004. Reggie’s resilience shone brightly as she embraced the subsequent chapter in her life, marrying Dale Clonts on February 14, 2016. Their marriage brought joy and companionship that Reggie treasured until his passing in 2024.
An enthusiastic outdoor lover, Reggie found delight in activities such as camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, and traveling. Her passion for the great outdoors was not just a hobby; it became a way for her to connect with her loved ones and share unforgettable experiences. Her warm spirit and zest for life resonated through every adventure, reminding those around her to appreciate the beauty of nature and the joy of exploration.
Reggie was a devoted mother to her sons, Rick and Russ Doshier, who were a source of immense pride to her. As a grandmother to four grandchildren and a great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren, her legacy lives on through the love and values she instilled in her family. Each of them will carry her lessons and spirit forward, ensuring that Reggie’s warmth and kindness continue to thrive.
She is also survived by fond memories of her beloved parents, Albert and Olive Rowe, along with her sisters, Arvella and Vada Rowe, who have preceded her in death. The bonds shared amongst them reflected the strength of family ties and the nurturing heart that defined Reggie’s essence.
In celebration of her extraordinary life, a gathering will take place on February 15, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Safford, Arizona. This special event invites all who knew and loved Reggie to come together and honor her remarkable journey, starting at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:30 PM.
Reggie’s legacy is marked by love, adventure, and a profound connection to those around her. As we say farewell to this remarkable woman, we are reminded of the indelible impact she made on our lives and the lasting memories we will carry with us forever.
