Theresa Harvey

Theresa Longstreet Harvey, 77 of Bylas passed away on September 27, 2013. Theresa was born July 15, 1936 to Clinton Longstreet and Fannie Burr. Her hobbies included quilting, working crossword puzzles, family cookouts and gatherings. She also enjoyed playing bingo at Apache Gold Casino. Some of her most important life events included graduating from high school, her children, and the birth of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Theresa is survived by her children, Patricia Harvey, Ace Harvey, Myrna Harvey, Rhoda Harvey, Pamela (Steve) Robertson, Nilla Harvey, Lucian (Shelly Johnson), Velma Harvey, Peterson (Velda Moses) Harvey, Jr.,; brothers, Solomon Starr, Sr., Hart Preston, Sr., Albert Benson; sister, Colleen Duane; niece, Linda Lou Jordan; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-granchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Peterson Harvey, Sr.; parents, Clinton Longstreet and Fannie Burr; grandparents, Riley & Nellie Benson and sister Rachel (Longstreet) Charles. A wake will be conducted on Friday, October 4, 2013 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Harvey Residence. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, October 5, 2013 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at Middle Mesa Cemetery.
