Timothy Nelson

Timothy Nelson, Sr. of Bylas passed away on July 29, 2020, in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 63. He was born on August 19, 1956, in Eager, Arizona to Lamson Nelson & Salina Rustin Nelson with siblings Angela Nelson Nozie, Vera Ann Pike, and Marion Clendon. Timothy attended Fort Thomas High School and started working as a Tribal Police Officer for 10 years, and later became a Gaming Inspector for the local casinos. He married Mildred Phillips. Timothy has 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children Sherrill Nelson, Tim Nelson, Jr., and Timalee Nelson, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Timothy was preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Nelson Ethelbah. A viewing will be from 7- 9 a.m. at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Graveside service at 9:30 a.m. at the Blackpoint Cemetery in Bylas.
