On Saturday, December 28, 2019, Todd "Hutchakin" Wilson, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 61.
Todd was born on November 4, 1958 in San Carlos, Arizona to Guy and Daisy Wilson. Todd had seven siblings; six sisters and one brother.
Todd was a laborer in the farming industry and on July 21, 1989, he married the love of his life, Rosalind Wilson. They raised seven children; Cheryl, Felicia, Juanita, Melissa, Denice, Savannah and Jaeleauna. They were blessed with 14 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
He attended Ft. Thomas Elementary through the 6th grade. In junior high, he went into placement in Sunland, California. There he stayed with his foster parents; Gary and Ruthie Combs. At a young age, he started working as a rancher in Point of Pines, Slaughter Mountain and Ash Creek. He worked for the Tribal Farm, as an EMT and worked as a firefighter for 28+ years.
Todd had a passion for the outdoors. He loved horseback riding, working on the ranch and braiding ropes. His love for horses brought him 2 amazing pets; his horses 8 ball and Powderface. One of his favorite sayings was, "stare, stare, lots of stare".
Todd was preceded in death by his father, Guy and his mother, Daisy. His sisters; Freida Pechuli, Niona Wright, Rosemary Wright, Pearl Nasby, Therlene Kindelay, his brother; Stephen Wilson and his daughter; Cheryl Nunez.
He is survived by his wife Rosalind, his 6 children; Felicia Garcia (Anthony), Juanita Rope (Andrew), Melissa Wilson (Oren Kindelay), Denice Wilson (Terry Hooke), Savannah Wilson and Jaeleauna Josay, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A wake will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Wilson residence in Bylas with the Funeral Service being held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Ernest Stanley Memorial Hall beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Bylas Central Heights Cemetery following the Services.
