Tony Barriga

Tony Barriga, age 61 of Thatcher, passed away August 21, 2015. Tony was born November 13, 1953 in Fairbanks, Alaska to Margaret Duenas and Johnny Barriga. Tony grew up in Morenci, graduating from Morenci High School, and later working at the mine for many years until moving to the Thatcher area in 1980. Tony is survived by his children; Shelly Barriga and Dana Ollick, sister; Frances Brannen, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, one sister and one grandson, Brandon Gracia. A viewing for Tony will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 9 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with a Rosary being prayed at 10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m.
