Trent Tharp

Trent Lee Tharp 1970 ~ 2009 Trent Lee Tharp, age 38, passed away suddenly, in his twin brother Troys arms, of a heart attack at work July 9, 2009. He was born November 2, 1970 in Iowa City, Iowa to Leonard Sonny and Ragena Kraft Tharp. He was a loving son and brother and he dearly adored his nephews and nieces and was a great friend to many. He was employed at Walmart in the maintenance department. As a child he liked to hunt and fish and loved music, movies and stock car racing. He will be deeply missed by all. Survivors include his mother, Ragena Duncan, Salt Lake; twin brother, Troy (Sherry) Tharp, Murray; brother, Todd (Cari) Tharp, Newhall, Iowa; sister, Tara (Dave) Padgett, West Valley City; brother, Tony (Shelly) Tharp, Provo; brother, Coleman (Melody Grace) Duncan, Atlanta, GA; He will be missed by his nieces and nephews: Kyle, Sara, Joey, Stephanie, Eli, Katie and Jordyn, Salt Lake City area; Tesla and Felicia, Iowa. Preceded in death by his father, Sonny, in 1988. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where friends may call Sunday, July 12, 2009, 6-8 p.m. and Monday, 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services. He will be cremated and his remains buried in Iowa, with his father, at a later time.
