Venice Bench Lipkin Beloved Sister and Aunt Devoted wife, daughter sister and special aunt, Venice Bench Lipkin passed away on January 7, 2008. Born March 31, 1922 in Boneta, Utah to Andrew Tatton and Grace Bench. After leaving Duchesne, she worked at the Pilot Airport Caf in Salt Lake City. She worked for Auerbachs Department Store. She modeled their clothes in the Tribune and Deseret News. During World War II, she met and married Harry Tedzack, from Seattle, Washington. Born to them a baby boy who died at birth. Later divorced. She moved to Chicago, Illinois, where she met and married Louis Lipkin, a widower with two children. They moved to Peoria, Illinois, where they lived for 46 years. Together she and her husband managed a successful business. After his death in 1998, she moved back to Salt Lake City, Utah. Survived by her brother, Dean Bench; sister, Dorothy Cary; step-daughter, Manya Schaff; grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Calvin and Ray; infant son; step-son, Bill. A family service will be Friday, January 11, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 South 1300 West.
