Vern Edmunds 1920 ~ 2008 Vern Edmunds, 87, passed away May 3, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family. Born October 19, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Wilford L. And Rachel F. Schoenfeld Edmunds. Married Betty Scott November 26, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lived in Bennion, Utah his entire life. Served in the US Army during WWII. Active member of the LDS Church where he held many positions. Survived by his wife, Betty; children: Denny (Dian) Edmunds, Riverton, UT; Linda (Ross) Labrum, Richmond, UT; Susan (Max) Whiting, Fairview, UT; 17 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Debra; 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a..m. at the Bennion 4th Ward, 6100 South Kamas Drive (2480 West). A viewing will be held Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday at the church 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
