Viola Johnson

Viola Johnson 1915 ~ 2009 Viola May Goodsell Johnson died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at a care center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Viola was born February 12, 1915 in Newton, Utah to Alfred Walter and Edna Henriksen Goodsell. Growing up she attended schools in the Newton area. She married Sherman Carl Johnson on November 30, 1932 in the Logan LDS Temple. She is survived by her children, Shirley Strong, St. George, UT; Birdene Cooper, West Jordan, UT; Robert (Vicki) Johnson, Rexburg, ID; and Johnny Johnson, Lake Havasu, AZ; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Fern and Gwennie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman; sons, Lonnie and Rodney; her parents; 4 brothers, 1 sister and 1 grandson. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 11, 2009, 12:00 noon at the Highland Park Ward, 2535 South Douglas Street, Salt Lake City, Utah where a viewing will be held, 11-11:45 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
