VIVIAN MARIE KING RICHARDS 1924 ~ 2010 Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, was loved by all. Vivian passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. She was born on May 28, 1924 in Storrs Carbon County, UT. To Lloyd Franklin King and Iva A. Davis. She graduated from Carbon County High School. She made her home in No. Salt Lake and became active in the LDS church. She married Joseph Walter Richards on September 14, 1946 in Salt Lake City, UT. (deceased). Vivian spent most of her life in the Granger area. Her family always came first. She always wanted to do things for everyone. She was very strong in her beliefs. The church was her life..... Her life was full of doing Genealogy work and going to the Temple. She had numerous church callings and loved to serve. She enjoyed teaching the young children and served in the Young Mens Scouting programs. Vivian loved the outdoors and family camping trips, and traveling to new destinations. She had 4 children; Walter and Daurice Richards, Val and Ejig Richards, Kathleen Richards, Ellen Richards, Mark and Lynn Richards; 15 grandchildren, Laurie, Shannon, Bryan (Christopher) Matthew, Ivy, Brandon, Adam, Alexia, Thomas, Kenneth, Tracy, Joshua, Joseph Christopher; 23 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Audrey (Ray) Clark, Jeannine (Bud) Smith, Sue Ray (Richard) Walch, Lenna Payne. Vivian is so loved and looked up to by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, June 2, 2010, 12:00 noon at the LDS Church, 3420 West Brians Way ( 4490 South). A Viewing will be held Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday 11:00-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City.
