Ward Thayne Perry A Loving Family Man Ward Thayne Perry, age 77, passed away surrounded by his family, on December 6, 2007. Born April 19, 1930 in Cedar City, Utah to Raymond Bengt and Mildred Vernett Thayne Perry. Married Bonnie Mathews December 3, 1948, later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Ward was employed in the trucking industry for over forty years. He was a hardworking, honest man who was respected by all who knew him. Ward loved his family and devoted his life to his wife, his six daughters and his grandchildren. He was a man with a huge heart who was dearly loved by his family. His kindness will be missed by all. Survived by his wife, Bonnie; children: Lynn (David) Chazen, Gail (Lowell) Mikolash, JoAnne Walker, Debbie (Chris) Andrus, Kathryn (Ray) Etcheverry, Janet Perry; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, brother, DeVar and sisters, Carol and Doris. Funeral services will be Monday, December 10, 2007, 10:00 a.m. at the Riverton, Utah Copperview Stake Center, 12154 South 3600 West, where a viewing will be held from 9-9:45 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Cedar City Cemetery. Services under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
