William Congdon

William Wilbur Congdon, 60, of Solomon, passed away May 8, 2016. He was born August 30, 1955 in Dekalb, Illinois to William & Vera Congdon. He was a mechanic by trade and his hobbies were fishing and listening to rock and roll music and being outdoors as a rock hound. The birth of his children, William, Tabitha, Sam and Kenneth, brought him great joy and watching them graduate from high school brought even greater joy. He married Debra Sue Awalt on July 6, 1996 and they have enjoyed many happy years together. William is survived by his loving wife, Debra, his children William Congdon, Tabitha Rosa, Sam Showers and Kenneth Showers, his mother Vera Verly, and siblings; Mark (Kaye) Congdon and Bob (Vicki) Ziegler, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, William Congdon and brother, George Ziegler. No services are planned at this time.
