William T. Schultz Bill William Treharne Schultz passed away September 8, 2008 after a courageous battle with Parkinsons and cancer. Born December 30, 1929 to Glenn M. and Vera Treharne Schultz. Graduated from West High School in 1947. He served in the US Navy and loved his country very much. He served the Lord on an LDS mission in the New England States, Newfoundland, Canada. Married Jane JoAnn Broadbent August 20, 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple. He loved working with the Boy Scouts and was an Eagle Scout himself. He was a High Priest and held many leadership positions in the LDS Church. Retired from Western/Delta Airlines after 30 years. Bill loved music, singing and performing with the Lakeside Chordbusters Barbershop Chorus and the Jay Welch Choral. But the real passion in his life was railroading, whether it was spending time on his model railroad or being an engineer on the Heber Valley Railroad, for 18 years. Survived by his beloved wife, of 56 years, Jane JoAnn; children: Kim Marie (Ken) Lund, Leslie Ann (Bart) Farnsworth, William Scott (Cari) Schultz; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Don) Westenskow; brother, Merrill (Carolyn) Schultz. Preceded in death by brother, David.(Evelyn) Schultz. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 12;00 noon at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Viewings will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday, 10-11:00 a.m.
