Willie E. Keener Woody 4/22/51 ~ 3/31/08 Willie Earl Keener, age 56, passed away peacefully at his home March 31, 2008 of natural causes. He died just three months after his wife and two months after his younger brother. He was born April 22, 1951 in Dragerton, Utah to Willie Earl and Mary Alice McCranie Keener. They moved to Kearns in 1962. Woody attended Kearns High and received two scholarships for swimming. He attended Weber State and then joined the US Army where he spent time in Germany. Woody was an outstanding artist and a natural comedian who could always make you laugh. He married Linda Crandall December 22, 1985. She had three children that he was a wonderful father to. He was also a wonderful grandfather who loved to play video games with his granddaughter. He was employed at Merit Medical Systems and was loved by all. He touched the lives of all he met. Survived by three stepchildren: Bill Cox, Tim Cox and Susan Cerrito; grandchild, Gina Cerrito; brothers: Ron and Don; sister, Sherry; mother, Mary Alice. Preceded in death by his father, Woody; wife, Linda; brother, Arthur Buddy. The family would like to extend thanks to his employer, Merit Medical. Memorial services will be held Sunday, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where family and friends may gather Sunday one hour prior. Good-bye, Woody ~ thanks for the laughs
