Winifred Neilson

Winifred Esther Allred Neilson 1918 ~ 2008 Born May 17, 1918 in Wichita, Kansas. After a long life, of 90 years, Winnie passed away October 30, 2008. Her LDS religion was the focus of her life and she found her greatest joy working in the Jordan River Temple. She married John Lowell Allred October 27, 1944; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away August 24, 1994. Married Shirley Park Neilson August 1, 2001; he passed away July 29, 2005. Survived by her children: Lorraine, Tooele, UT; Michael, Arlington, TX; Kathy, Duluth, MI; Sandra and Brian, both of San Jose, CA; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by brother, Fred Williams; son, Jimmy; granddaughter, Alana. Thanks to all of the staff at the Beehive Home in Tooele, UT where Winnie resided for the last three years and was cared for with love and kindness. Special thanks to her daughter, Lorraine, for the many years of love and dedication. Private family burial was held October 4, 2008.
