Winter Lee Goseyun Plummer, 27, of Lacey, Washington, passed away February 2010. She was born August 16, 1982 to Carlos D. Goseyun, Sr. and Kathy Goseyun. Winter grew up in Calva, AZ and later moved to Bylas, AZ. She graduated from Ft. Thomas High School in 2000 then attended Eastern Arizona College for 2 years earning her AA Degree. Winter joined the US Army and gave 4 years of her life serving her country. During that time in the U.S. Army she completed a year of deployment for Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2006, at which time she was engaged in combat. She worked as a 25Q Multichannel Radio Operator and earned several awards and medals; Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2), Meritorious Unit Award, National Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism, Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Non-commission Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Bar (2), and the Combat Action Badge. Winter ended her duties with the US Army to raise her daughter Taylor. Winter enjoyed reading, running, staying fit, visits with friends and being a mother. Winter is survived by her daughter Taylor Chelle Plummer, father Carlos D. Goseyun, Sr. of Calva, AZ, mother Kathy Goseyun of Peridot, AZ, siblings Adrienne (Michael) Vaughn, Sacheen Goseyun and Carlos (Chasity) Goseyun, and 3 nephews, Trajaan, Maximus and Devin. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 6 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Services will be conducted Monday, May 3, 2010 at 10 a.m. with visitation at 9 a.m. in the Stanley Hall, Bylas, AZ. Interment will be at the Goseyun family plot in Calva, AZ.
